1 WHEREAS, the provisional operator status of Byron Turner was revoked by the Saint
2 Paul City Council on August 22, 2001 for failure to complete taxicab driver training, as required
3 by Saint Paul Legisiative Code §376.17(c); and
4
5 WHEREAS, Byron Turner appeared the following day at the Office of LIEP and stated
6 that he had never received the notice of the hearing, and was willing to complete the taxicab
7 driver training course by retaking the portion of the exam he had failed; and
9 WHEREAS, notice to Mr. Turner at his place of employment was retumed and he was
10 given notice by publication, and the Council believes that it is reasonable and fair to give Mr.
11 Turner one more opportunity to complete the requirements for a taacicab driver's license; now,

therefore be it
RESOLVED, that the provisional operator license (License ID# 20000005975)
previously revoked shall be reinstated and Byron Turner shall have ninety days to complete the
requirements of taacicab driver training.
