WHEREAS, the City of Saint Paul Police Department needs to increase the 2001 financing and spending
plan for tlus grant; and
WAEREAS, the Mayor pursuant to Secfion 10.07.1 of the Charter of the City of Saint Paul, does cerrify that
there are available for appropriation funds of $57,260 in excess of those estimated in the 2001 budget; and

W ITNESSETH:
WHEREAS, GRANTEE has been awarded a subgrant identified as grant agreement number 90634 and
W HEREAS, the parties desire to modify said Agreement in the particulars hereinafter set forth, and
WHEREAS, Article IV provides that:
IV. Term of Grant: This Grant shall be effective on Januarv'I. 2000, or upon such date as it is
executed as to encumbrance by the Commissioner of the Department of Economic Security,
whichever occurs later, and shali remain in effect untii June 30. 2001_, or until all obligations set
forth in this grant agreement have been satisfactoriiy tuifilled, whichever occurs first.
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS AGREED BY AND BETWEEN THE PARTIES HERETO AS FOLLOWS:
That Article IV, `?erm of Grant," is hereby deleted in its entirety and the following substituted in lieu and in place
thereof:
