WHEREAS, gymnastics is a sport that requires long, ha.rd hours
of dedication and exceptiona.l physical ability, and
WHEREAS, the City of Saint Paul is fortunate to have among its
citizens a young person �f such talent in the field of gymnastics, and
WHEREAS, this high school student, Kolleen Casey, won a gold
medal for vaulting, a silver for` the balance beam competition and a
bronze in all-around honors at the recent Pan American Games in Mexico
City; now, therefore be it
RESOLVED, that the City of Saint Paul is proud of Kolleen Casey
and offers its official congratulations to her for her achievements
in the Pan American Games; and, be it
FURTHER RESOLVED, that the City of Saint Paul wishes Kolleen
good luck next summer at the Olympics in Montreal.
