WHEREAS, the City Ccuncil of the City of St. Paul requested
that a j oint com�iittee composed of two members of the City Cou ncil
and two members of the Ramsey County Board be established to make a
recommendation for the level of funding for neighborhood health
clinics, and
WHER�AS,�. Council members John Christensen and David Hozza
assumed this additional duty as representatives of the City Caincil,
and
WIiEREAS-, they spent many long� hours in the preparation of the
final budget �ecommendation for the rr�eighborhood health elinics,
which recognizes both the "hold the line" promise of the City Cauncil
and the health needs of the communit'y�,
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the St. Paul City Caincil
does hereby commend Council members Christensen and �iozza for their
efforts in d�awing up the recommended budget.
