WHER,EAS, The Articles of Tncorporation of Minnesota
Landmarks, a Minnesota Nonprofit Corporation, formed for the
pux'pose of aiding in the restoration, management and display
of buildings and land of importance in Minnesota history and
cultural development, provides that the members of its Board
of Directors shall be concurred in and approved by the Mayor
and City Council; and
WHEREAS, The City Council and Mayor have been asked
to approve the appointment of the following individuals to
fill unexpired terms of Board Members who have either
resigned or passed away; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the Council of the City of Saint Paul
hereby concurs �.n and approves the appointment of the follow-
ing named persons as director of Minnesota Landm�rks to fill
the unexpired terms of those gersons designated for the terms
set forth below: .
1) Hyman Applebaum, to fill the unexpired term of
Thomas J. Kelley, expiring May 9, 1980.
2) Lloyd L. Leider, to fill the unexpired term of
Larry M. 0'Shaughnessy, which term expires
, May 9, 198U.
3� Richard H. Bancroft, Jr. to fill the unexpired
term of the late Henry H. Cowie, Jr. , which term
expires May 28, 1976.

City Council of the resolution appointing them to the Board
of Minnesota Landmarks follow:
Lloyd L. Leider:

recently retired Executive Vice President of First
National Bank of Saint Paul; schooled in Saint Paul
and a graduate of the University of Minnesota; active
in many civic affairs and recently appointed Chairman
of the Civic Center Authority.
Richard H. Bancroft, Jr.
Age 48 , Address - Bremer Arcade Room 630
Robert and 7th, Saint Paul 55101
professional photographer; past involvement with
Junior Chamber of Commerce; the Settlement House
Movement; Board of Twin Cities International Program,
and its former President; attended University of
Minnesota.
Hyman Applebaum:
Age 70, Address - Applebaum Foods
222 Plato Blvd. , Saint Paul 55116
former Chairman of the Board, Applebaum Food Stores, Inc. ;
schooled in Saint Paul; serving on Board of Saint John' s
