WHEREAS, the City Council, in November, 1974, called for citizens
to meet as an ad hoc forum to work toward a citi �n participation '
report, and
WHEREAS, a group of citizens began, in January, 1975, an extensive
and open process to prepare such a report, and
WHEREAS, the City Council did receive a citizen participation
report from the Forum, and
WHEREAS, the Forum has continued to provide input in all subsequent
deliberations on citizen participation,
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council does hereby wish to
commend all those involved in the process of developing the Forum's
recommendations, and
FURTHER BE IT RESOLVED, tha.t speci�']. appreciation be extended to
William Wilson, Convenor of the For�mm, the Forum's negotiating
team, and Rosilyn Carroll, Chairperson of the negotiating team.
