RESOLVED, that the Council of the City of Saint Paul does
hereby accept dedication for street purposes the following
described property, dedicated by the Housing and Redevelopment
Authority of the City of Saint Paul, Minnesota, for the widening
of Dale Street and the City Attorney is hereby authorized and
directed to record the said Deed of dedication in the proper
office of recordation:
Lot 15 and that part of Lot 14, Beck's Addition
to the City of St. Paul, lying West of a line
93 feet East of and parallel to the West line of
the SW�, Sec. 36, T 29N - R 23W, subject to the
rights acquired by the City af St. Paul for the
widening of University Ave, ,

DEED OF DEDICATION FOR STREET PURPOSES
THIS INDENTURE, made this 2nd day of May, 1975, between the
HOUSING AND REDEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF SAINT PAUL,
MINNESOTA, a public body corporate and politic, hereinafter
referred to as the "HRA" and the CITY OF SAINT PAUL, a municipal
corporation, hereinafter referred to as the "City".
WITNESSETH:
WHEREAS, pursuant to the provisions of the Minnesota Municipal
� Housing and Redevelopment Act, Laws of Minnesota, 1947, Cha.pter
487, as amended, the HRA has acquired certain lands as part of the

Summit-University Urban Renewal Project, Minn. A-1-1, in accordance
with the Redevelopment Plan for such project; and
WHEREAS, the Redevelopment Plan for said project pro�vides far .
the dedication of certain lands for street purposes; and
WHEREAS, in order to carry out said Redevelopment Plan, the
HRA desires to dedicate for future street right of way, a strip .
of land along the easterly right of way of Dale Street below
described.
NOW, THEREFORE, the HRA does hereby grant, bargain, quit
claim and convey unto the City forever an easement for street
purposes those parcels of land lying and being within the County

TO HAVE AND TO HOLD THE SAME, together with all hereditaments
and appurtenances thereunto belonging or in .anywise appertaining �
thereto to the City in trust for use by the public for street
purposes. The City agrees for itself and its successors and assigns
to or of the property described herein or any part thereof, that
the City and such successors and assigns shall not discriminate
upon the basis of race, color, religion, sex or national origin
in the use of said property. It is intended and agreed that the

foregoing agreement shall be a covenant running with the land,
and that such agreement shall be binding to the fullest extent
of law and equity for the benefit and in favor of and enforceable
by the HRA, its successors and assigns, and the United States of
America against the City, its successors and assigns. It is
further intended and �agreed that said agreement and covenant shall
remain in effect without limitation as to time.
IN TESTIMONY WHEREOF, the HRA has caused this Deed to be
executed by its duly authorized officers and its Seal hereunto �
