For those officers and employees who are required to use their own automobiles on a regular basis on City business, reimbursement at the rate of $2.50 for each day of work, and in addition thereto at the rate of $0.065 for each mil� driven. �Tr e 3. The amount of the allowance may be provided by a collective bargaining contract. Type 4. Elected officials who are required to use ti^fe r automobiles on a regular basis on City business shall receive as a reimbursement $115.00 per month. 92A.02-Rules and Re�u.lations: (a) The Ma.yor shall adopt rules and regulations governing the procedures for automobile reimbursement, which regulations and rules shall contain the requirement that recipients shall file daily reports indicating miles driven and shall file monthly affidavits stating the number of days worked and the number of miles driven, and further require that they maintain automobile liability insurance in amounts not less that $100,000/300,000 for personal injury, and $25,000 for property damage with the City of St. Paul named as an additional insured. These rules and regulations, together with any amendments thereto, shall be ma.intained on file with the City Clerk. It has come to my attention that the draft I prepared inad- vertently omitted the provision for elected officials. I have prepared a new draft that incorporates that provision under the Ty.pe 4 plan and request that it be used.
