WHEREAS, MINNESOTA LANDMARKS has been incorporated as a
nonprofit corporation concerned with the history of Minnesota
and its cultural development; and
WHEREAS, according to the Articles of Incorporation of
MINNESOTA LANDMARK5, a board of nine (9) regular directors shall
manage the corporate affairs, such directors to be named by the
Mayor of Saint Paul, and approved by the Council of Saint Paul;
and
WHEREAS, one (1) member is to be from the Council of Saint
Paul, and whose term is to coincide with said member' s term of
public off ice; and
WHEREAS, Councilman John E. Christensen has been named by
the Mayor and approved by the Council of Saint Paul to be a `
director of MINNESOTA LANDMARKS; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED� that Councilman John E. Christensen be and
hereby is designated as a director of MINNESOTA LANDMARKS.
