4�iEREAS, The Civic Center Authority has recormnended the construction
of a new multi-purpose theater, to better serve the metropolitan
area; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the Council of the City of Saint Paul believes a new
theatre wouid be a benefit to all and therefore concurs in the
Authority's recorrr�nnendation that a new theatre should be constructed;
and be it
FURTHER RESOLVED, That the cost of financing the new Civic Center
Theater be endured by both public and private funds; and be it
FURTHER RESOLVED, That the Council of the City of Saint Paul hereby
approves and confirms the Mayor's appointments of Mr. Ben Agee and
Mrs. Normart 6. Mears as co-chairmen, to chair the new Civic Center
Theatre Project.
