Re: Ma.npower Planning Advisory Council
Dear President Hunt:
This is to request that the City Council consent to the appointment of the
individuals listed on the attached Resolution to the Saint Paul Manpower
Planning Council.
This Council is an advisory group which is intended to provide a wide range
of community input and advice in ma.tters relating to our manpower programs.
It is not a new group, but rather represents a reorganization of the group
that was appointed in October of 1973. This reorganized Council was built
upon the membership of the previous group with new individuals added and
those who did not wish to serve further or those who were not able to attend
meetings being replaced.
This membership wi11 provide us with the kind of representation which is re-
quired under the Comprehensive Employment and Training Act (CETA) Regulations.
If you have any questions, please call Richard J. Thorpe, Manpower Director,
at 4904.
erely,
nce D. Cohen
