Reviews work and conducts performance appraisals of assigned staff. Supervision Exercised: Within the unit, exercises administrative and teclmical supervision over impound lot petsonnel. TYPICAL DUTIES PERFORMED The listed examples may not include all the duties performed by atl positions in this class. Supervises impound lotto include suspending, assigning work, rewazding, disciplining, directing and adjusting greivances of employees. Supervises night operation including emergencies. Reviews work and conducts performance appraisals of assigned staff. Oversees the operations including the receip� the storage, the release, the aucrion inventory, and the salvage of 9mpouaded vehicles; reviews released invoices to ensure proper procedures aze followed. Supervises night operation for staffmg and emergencies, requests scheduling changes and other personnei transactions. Maintains various records and files to ensure accurate reporting and disposition of vehicles and money as a result of the impounding, storage, aucrioning, and release of vehicles coming into custody at night. Maintains lot security at night including acceptance, retention and disposition of property. Prepares documentation necessary for towing and releasing procedures, and billing and payment procedures. May operate a tow truck, forklift, and plow truck and perform physicai activity associated with auction preparadoa and lot security maintenance.
