WHEREAS, Gerald Hanggi, St. Paul Police Department, was seriously
wounded and became disabled in the course of his duties as a police
officer serving the City of Saint Paul, and
WHEREAS, prior to adoption of the new City Charter any police officer
injured in the line of duty could not become eligible for additional
sick time; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, that the Sai�t P�ul City Council does hereby support the
efforts of Gerald Hanggi in his request for State legislation granting
him 165 days of retroactive sick leave.
