RESOLVED, That the Council of the City of Saint Paul
hereby approves :
'�A bill for an act relating to the city of Saint
Paul; establishing the city' s tax levy limits as
that levy limit established by general state law;
repealing Laws 1971, Chapter 762. '�
and reeommends the same to the Ramsey County Senate and House
delegations .

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LCGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:
Secl;ion 1. �ITY OF SAINT PAUL; TAX LEVY LIMITS_7
Notivithstanding any provision of the charter of the city of
Saini; Paul to the contrary, the co.uncil of the city of Saint
Paul is aul;horized �;o levy taxes �or general city purposes
a.n such amounts not to exceed the levy limits imposed by
gene.ral state la.w. �
Sec . 2. Laws 1971, Chapter 762, is repealed.
Sec. 3. This act shall become effective only af ter its
appro�ral by a majority of i;he governing body of the city of
Saint Paul and u�on compliance ivith the provisions of Minnesota
�
