WHEREAS, the Saint Paul City Council would like to welcome the Olympi� Brewing
Company to Saint Paul ; and
WHEREAS, Olympia Brewing Company's joining with the Theodore Hamn Brewery not only
will increase employment in Saint Paul , but will increase the product availability
of two very fine beers - Hamm's and Olympia; and -
WHEREAS, the Saint Paul City Council would also like to welcome Rick Schmidt,
President, and all members of the management of Olympia, to Saint Paul ; and
WHEREAS, the brewing industry in Saint; Paul is one of the keystone industries of
this community and the joining together of Olympia and Hamn's will expand upon
this cornerstone; and
WHEREAS, the Saint Pau1 City Council will do everything in its power to �nake the
forthcoming expansion af the Hamm's Division a reality; now, therefrar�, be it
RESOLVED, That the S�din� Paul City Council , on hehalf of the Mayor and the citizens
of Saint Paul, extends dn official welcome to the Olympia Brewing Compar�y and its
management; and be it
FURTHER RESOLVED, That the Saint Paul City Cot�t�ci�l pledges its full cooperation
and support for the forthcoming expansion of the Hamn's Division.
