BE IT RE50LVED, that, upon the peuuon of Pamela and John Boardman, as documented in Finance
Department File Number 1-1999, public properties hereinafter described are hereby vacated and
discontinued as public property:
All that part of the alley in Block 5, Norwood Addition, Ramsey County, Minnesota,
which lies west of the northerly production of the west line of the east 15.00 feet of Lot
10 of said Block 5.
This vacation sha11 be subject to the terms and condifion of Chapter 13Q codified March l, 1981, of
the Saint Paul Legislative Code as amended, and to the following condidons:

That the petitioners, their successors and assigns, shall pay $500.00 as an administrative fee for
this vacation which is due and payable within 60 days of the effecuve date of this resolution.
That a permanent utility easement shall be retained within the vacated area to protect the
interest of MCIWorldCom.
3. That the petitioners, their successars and assigns agree to indemnify, defend and save harmless
the Ciry of Saint Paul, its officers and employees from all suits, actions or claims of an
character brought as a result of injuries or damages received or sustained by any person,
persons or property on account of this vacation or petitioners' use of this property, including
but not limited to, a claim brought because of any act of omission, neglect, or misconduct of
said pefitioners or because of any claims or liability arising from any violauon of any law or
regulation made in accordance with the law, whether by the petitioners or any of their agents or
employees.
4. That the petitioners, their successors and assigns shall, within 60 days of the effecrive date of
this resolution, file with the City Clerk an acceptauce in writing of the condifions of this

I am requesting a date of 7anuary 24, 2001 for a Public Hearing to approve the attached
Council Resolution. The purpose of the resolution is to vacate part of the alley in Block 5,
Norwood Addition, near I-35E and Michigan and Oneida Streets. This is to allow for the
petitioners, Pam and John Boardman, to join together two parcels of property that they own
into one continuous parcel. The area to be vacated is between these two parcels.
The urilities and usual City offices with rights to the area being vacated have all respouded
to our inquiries regarding the proposed vacation. Their responses are with the resolution as
it is being routed for signatures. The resolution is currently in the City Attorney's office.
I have attached a copy of the green sheet, the Council Resolution, and a map of the area to
be vacated. Please let me l�ow if there is anything else you might need for this.
Needs to be on the Council Agenda by January 3, 2001 for the Public Hearing to be held on
January 24, 2001 ?

BE IT RE50LVED, that, upon the peuuon of Pamela and John Boardman, as documented in Finance
Department File Number 1-1999, public properties hereinafter described are hereby vacated and
discontinued as public property:
All that part of the alley in Block 5, Norwood Addition, Ramsey County, Minnesota,
which lies west of the northerly production of the west line of the east 15.00 feet of Lot
10 of said Block 5.
This vacation sha11 be subject to the terms and condifion of Chapter 13Q codified March l, 1981, of
the Saint Paul Legislative Code as amended, and to the following condidons:

I am requesting a date of 7anuary 24, 2001 for a Public Hearing to approve the attached
Council Resolution. The purpose of the resolution is to vacate part of the alley in Block 5,
Norwood Addition, near I-35E and Michigan and Oneida Streets. This is to allow for the
petitioners, Pam and John Boardman, to join together two parcels of property that they own
into one continuous parcel. The area to be vacated is between these two parcels.
The urilities and usual City offices with rights to the area being vacated have all respouded
to our inquiries regarding the proposed vacation. Their responses are with the resolution as
it is being routed for signatures. The resolution is currently in the City Attorney's office.
I have attached a copy of the green sheet, the Council Resolution, and a map of the area to
be vacated. Please let me l�ow if there is anything else you might need for this.
Needs to be on the Council Agenda by January 3, 2001 for the Public Hearing to be held on
January 24, 2001 ?

BE IT RE50LVED, that, upon the peuuon of Pamela and John Boardman, as documented in Finance
Department File Number 1-1999, public properties hereinafter described are hereby vacated and
discontinued as public property:
All that part of the alley in Block 5, Norwood Addition, Ramsey County, Minnesota,
which lies west of the northerly production of the west line of the east 15.00 feet of Lot
10 of said Block 5.
This vacation sha11 be subject to the terms and condifion of Chapter 13Q codified March l, 1981, of
the Saint Paul Legislative Code as amended, and to the following condidons:

I am requesting a date of 7anuary 24, 2001 for a Public Hearing to approve the attached
Council Resolution. The purpose of the resolution is to vacate part of the alley in Block 5,
Norwood Addition, near I-35E and Michigan and Oneida Streets. This is to allow for the
petitioners, Pam and John Boardman, to join together two parcels of property that they own
into one continuous parcel. The area to be vacated is between these two parcels.
The urilities and usual City offices with rights to the area being vacated have all respouded
to our inquiries regarding the proposed vacation. Their responses are with the resolution as
it is being routed for signatures. The resolution is currently in the City Attorney's office.
I have attached a copy of the green sheet, the Council Resolution, and a map of the area to
be vacated. Please let me l�ow if there is anything else you might need for this.
