WHEREAS, The final costs for the Pederson-Third St. Relief Sewer System
Finance Department Contract L-7543 has been determined and,
WHEREAS, Upon final allocation of funds from which the above improvement
was to be paid, it was found that the amount originally set up for its financing
is insufficient to meet the final costs and that an additional amount of $11 ,065•27
will be required, therefore be it,
RESOLVED, That the amount of $11 ,065.27 be applied from the Water Pollution
Abatement Fund to finance the additional cost of the above improvement.

The attached Council Resolution is for authorization of funds from the
1973 Water Pollution Abatement Fund to finance the additional cost for
the above improvement.
The Council never adopted a budget for 1973 Water Pollution Abatement
Funds so it does not require an amendment to the appropriate annual
budget.

Dear Mr. Dunf ord:
In regard to the attached Council resolution authorizing
applying $11,065 .27 from the Water Pollution Abatement
Fund to fina.nce the cost of a portion of the above sewer
project, would you please inform me if the intention of
this resolution is to amend the appropriate budget so as
to transfer funds to this project. If that is the case,
the resolution should be cha,nged so as to provide tha.t
the appropriate annua.l budget is amended to transfer the
funds into the proper project account. If you ha.ve any
questions regarding the budget amendments I suggest you
talk° to Greg Blees in the Budget Directoris Office.
