COUGHLIN PLANNING COORDINATOR December 30, 1974 Mrs. Rose Ann Mix City Clerk Room 386 City Hall Dear Madam: This is written in response to the application of Macon, Inc. for a permit to install a 54-car parking lot on property located on the east side of Dewey between Feronia and St. Anthony. This property is further described as follows: Lots 56, 57, 58 and 59, Union Park Addition. This ma.tter was heard by the Board of Zoning on December 5, 1974. Staff briefly explained the cha.nges in the site plan and stated revised plans had been received on December 4, 1974, and were being reviewed by various City departments. Contingent upon the plans meeting standards, staff recommended approval of the permit. Several neighbors appeared in opposition, one concerned about the increase in traffic this would cause; another felt there should be no entrance or exit onto the alley; and one did not feel the lot was large enough. A motion to recommend approval of the permit, subject to the plan meeting all the requirements proposed by staff, carried unanimously. Sincerely, m. ANNE M.
