WHEREAS, the Saint Pau1 Winter Carnival Association, Inc, has
applied for permission to install overhead street banners diagonally on
existing intersection cables at the following downtown locations:
1. Fifth and St. Peter Sts. , between the St. Paul Hotel and the
, Garrick Building.
2. Fourth and Wabasha 5ts. , between the Lowry Hotel and the
Commerce Building.
3, Seventh and Wabasha Streets, between Dayton's and Musicland
(Capri Hotel site)
4, Sixth and Robert Streets, between Twin City Federal and the
American National Bank
-said banners to be displayed from Wednesday, January 22 to Monday,

- WHEREA5, the City Architect approves said request and so recommenda
to the City Council; be it therefore
RESOLVED, that the Council does hereby authorize display of banners
at the aforestated. four locations for the time requeeted subject to the terms
of Section 22. 08 of the 5aint Paul Legislative Code,
