The City plans to reconstruct Cathlin Street south of Como Avenue as part of the KnappBillside project
the Residential Street Vitatity Program. In conjunction with this project, the City is seeking a drainage
easement on State Fair property adjacent to, and immediately south of, the terminus of Cathiin Street. T
30-foot easement would extend approximately 440 feet south along an eaisting drainage ditch. This
easement is necessary to ensure proper drainage of water runoff from Cathlin Street into the City's storm

which is hereby acknowledged, does hereby grant, bazgain, sell and convey to the City of Saint
Paul, a municipal corporation of the State of Minnesota, its successors, and assigns, as Grantee, a
permanent easement for public storm water drainage purposes on, over, under and across the
following tract of land being in the County of Ramsey, State of Minnesota, described as follows:
A drainage easement 30 feet wide over, under and across all that part ofLot 18,Block
