01-74Council File # O l — � � ORfGINAL Presented By Referred To 10 11 12 13 14 15 Committee: Date WHEREAS, Saint Paul Legislative Code § 376.17(c) requires new applicants for a tasicab driver's license to successfully complete a taacicab driver training course as a prerequisite for licensure; and WHEREAS, § 37617(d) pernvts an applicant to obtain a provisional operator license which authorizes the driver to operate until the first available opening in a tranung class, at which time the applicant must enroll in and successfully complete the class; and WHEREAS, Juan Herrara was issued a provisional operator license by the Office of LIEP and was notified of the ta7cicab driver training course to begin on November 6, 2000, but failed to attended and successfully complete the taxicab driver training course; now, therefore, be it RESOLVED, that the provisional operator license (license ID # 20000003104) issued to Juan Henara is hereby revoked for failure to attend and successfully complete the required taYicab drivertraining course.
