WHEREAS, Saint Paul Legislative Code § 376.17(c) requir new applicants for a
tasicab driver's license to successfully complete a tasicab driver 'ning course as a prerequisite
for licensure; and
WHEREAS, § 376.17(d) permits an applicant to obt n a provisional operator license
which authorizes the driver to operate until the first availa e opening in a traimng class, at
which rime the applicant must enroll in and successfully omplete the class; and
WHEREAS, Muhyadin Haaji was issued a p visional operator license by the Office of
LIEP and was notified of the taacicab driver trainin course to begin on November 6, 2000, but
failed to attended and successfully complete the icab driver training course; now, therefore, be
it
RESOLVED, that the provisional o ratar license (license ID # 20000003748) issued to
Muhyadin Haaji is hereby revoked for fai e to attend and successfully complete the required
tasicab driver training course.

Deaz Mr. Haaji:
The Office of License, Inspections and Environmental Protection has recommended revocation
of your provisional operator status as a taacicab driver based upon your failure to enroll in and
successfully complete a taxicab driver training course, pursuant to Saint Paul legislative Code
§ 376.17(d). Enclosed is a copy of the proposed resolution.
Please take notice that a hearing has been scheduled before the Saint Paul City Council for 5:30
p.m. on Wednesday, January 24, 2001 in the City Council Chambers, Third Floor, Saint
Paul City Ha1URamsey County Courthouse. You will have an opportunity to address the
Council at that time.
