01-71ORIG1�lAL Presented By Referred To Committee: Date 1 WHEREAS, Saint Paul Legislative Code § 376.17(c) requires new applicants for a 2 taacicab driver's license to successfully complete a tasicab driver training course as a prerequisite 3 for licensure; and 5 WHEREAS, § 376.17(d) permits an applicant to obtain a provisional operator license 6 which authorizes the driver to operate until the first available opening in a training class, at 7 which time the applicant must enroll in and successfully complete the class; and 9 WHEREAS, Daniel Dixon was issued a provisional operator license by the Office of 10 LIEP and was notified of the taacicab driver training course to begin on November 6, 2000, but 11 failed to attended and successfully complete the taacicab driver training course; now, therefore, be 12 13 14 15 16 it RESOLVED, that the provisional operator license (license ID # 20000004284) issued to Daniel Dixon is hereby revoked for £ailure to attend and successfully complete the required tasicab driver training course.
