WHEREAS, friends and associates of Mr. Maceo Moody will be honoring
him at a testimonial luncheon on March 31 ; and
WHEREAS, Mr. Maceo Moody is particularly worthy of this special
tribute because of his many years and countless hours of unselfish
dedication to such important causes as equal rights for all rr�n,
vocational training, economic opportunity, housing and urban development,
and the labor movement; and
WHEREAS, Mr. Maceo Moody has organized and direc�ted such important
groups as the St. Paul Urban League, the National Association for the
Advancement of Colored People, the Summit-University Federation, Ramsey
Action Programs, and the Association of St. Paul Comnunities; so,
therefore, be it
RESOLVED, that this Council , on its own behalf and on behalf of
all the people of St. Paul , does hereby express its profound gratitude
and deep appreciation to the services provided by Mr. Maceo Moody, and
extends its very best wishes for continued success.
