BE �T RESOLVED, that the Council of the Ciity of Saint Paul
does hereby approve and accept the dedication of drainage and
utility easements over portions of Blocks l, 3 and 4, Dawson' s
Fifth Addition to the City of Saint Paul and a piortion of the
south 891 feet of the east half of the northwest quarter of the
northwest quarter of Section 20, Township 29, Range 22, said
dedication of easements being made by the Vadnai;s Development
Corporation as more particularly set forth on the attached copies
of easement documents, and the City Attorney is hereby authorized
to record these deeds in the proper office of re!cordation.

Enclosed please find resolution approving acceptance of
Drainage and Utility Easements made to the City of Saint
Paul by the Vadnais Development Corporat�on. These
easements have been approved and recomme}�ded for acceptance
by the Department of Public Works and, therefore, I ask
that you submit this resolution to the C�ty Council for
approval and acceptance. Any questions you may have in
this regard should be directed to Frank Hogrefe in the
Department of Public Works.

GRANT OF 5EWER EASEMENT
THIS INDENTURE, Made this 30th day of January, 1976,
between Vadnais Development Corporation, a corporation under the
Laws of the State of Minnesota, party of thE first part, and City
of Saint Paul , a Municipal Corporation of the State of Minnesota,
party of the second part,
WITNESSETH:
That the said party of the first part, in consideration
of the sum of One Dollar and other good and valuable considerations
to it in hand paid by said party of the second part, the receipt
whereof is hereby acknowledged, does hereby grant, bargain, sell
and convey to party of the second part a permanent easement for
sewer purposes over, under and across those parts of Lots 1, 2,
3 , 4 , 5, 6 , 7 , 8, 13, 14 , 15, 16 , 17 , and 18, Block 4 , Dawson's
5th Addition tb the City of St. Paul, Ramsey County, Minnesota�
and of the accrued vacated alleys and stre�ts , and of that part
of the South 891 feet of the East Half of the Northwest Quarter
of the Northwest Quarter of Section 20 , Township 29 , Range 22 ,
lying Northwesterly of the Soo Line Railroad Company right-of-way
and lying Southerly of the South line of Idaho Avenue extended
and lying Southwesterly of the Sout�wester�y right-of-way line
of Wheelock Parkway; the specific location of said easement being
as hereinafter more particularly set forth, and all of said lands
lying and being in the County of Ramsey , State of Minnesota:
Said easement being 20 feet in width, lying Northwesterly
of and adjoining the following described line:
Commencing at the southwesterly co�`ner of Block 3 ,
said DAWSON'S 5TH ADDITION TO THE CITY OF ST. PAUL;
thence '�iorth 89 degrees 27 minutes 34 seconds East,
assumed bearing along the south line ot said Block
3 and its easterly extension a distance of 327 . 24
feet, more or less, to the northwesterly line of
the Soo Line Railroad right of way and the point
of beginning of the line to be des�ribed; thence
northeasterly alc�ng said northwesterly line a dis-
tance of 259 .42 feet along a non tangent curve, -
concave to the southeast,� having a radius of
3594 . 19 feet, a central angle of 4 degrees 08
minutes 08 seconds, a chord length of 259. 37 feet
an3 a chord bearing of North 31 degrees 12 minutes
33 seconds East and there said line terminates.

Thence continuing with said easement being 15. 00 feet
in width, lying northwesterly of and adjoining the
following described line :
Beginning at the last above described terminus;
thence northeasterly 28. 88 feet along said north-
westerly line of the Soo Line Railroad right of
way, said northwesterly line being a curve having
a radius of 3594 . 19 feet, a central angle of 00
degrees 27 minutes 38 seconds, a chord length of
28 . 88 feet and a chord bearing of North 33 degrees
30 minutes 26 seconds East and there said line
terminates. .
Thence continuing with said easement being 20 . 00 feet
in width, lying northwesterly of and adjoining the follow-
ing described line:
Beginning at the last above described terminus;
thence North 14 degrees 44 minutes 20 seconds East
a dzstance of 63. 00 feet; thence North 19 degrees
42 minutes 04 seconds East a distance of 232 .96 feet;
thence North 39 degrees 58 minutes 19 seconds East
to the southwesterly right-of-
way line of Wheelock Farkway and there said line
terminates.
The side lines of said easement are to be lengthened or
shortened so as to terminate in the southwesterly right-
of-way line of Wheelock Parkway and the easterly exten-_
sion of the southerly line of said Block 3.
