Kelley City Administrator 365 City Nalt Attn: Peter Hames Dear Mr. Kelley: Attached are resolutions that would authorize reductions in the speed limit to 20 miles per hour when children are present at two locations within the city. The two locations are Arcade St. between Magnolia St. and Jessamine Ave. and W. Seventh St. at View St. These two locations are along State Highways and we have received permission from the Highway Department to install speed zones. A copy of the tetter of authorization from them is attached. Also enclosed is a copy of our engineering report citing street width, traffic volumes, number of children, etc. The City Council recently approved five other' locations. With these two, a total of seven will be in effect within the city, and as we indicated previously, we will be reviewing these seven locations to determine if additional zones should be instailed later.
