01-662Council File # �_� — G�i� Presented By Referred To Committee: Date 1 WHEREAS, Saint Paul Legislative Code § 376.17(c) requires new applicants for a 2 taa:icab driver's license to successfully complete a tasicab drivertraining course as a prerequisite 3 for licensure; and 4 WHEREAS, § 376.17(d) permits an applicant to obtain a provisional operator license which authorizes the driver to operate until the first available opening in a training class, at which time the applicant must enroll in and successfully complete the class; and 9 WHEREAS, William Stringham was issued a provisional operator license by the Office 10 of LIEP and was notified of the tasicab driver training course to begin on February 5, 2001, but 11 failed to attended and successfully complete the course; now, therefore, be it 12 13 RESOLVED, that the provisional operatar license (license ID # 19990003782) issued to 14 William Stringham is hereby revoked for failure to enroll in and successfully complete the 15 required tasicab driver training course.
