" �° ■ ounc� Resolutio �age 1 Qf , � - . � Presented By � " Referred To Co ' t • Out of Committee B Date WHEREAS, Project Ouroboros is designed to provide a practical demonstration of energy- saving ideas in the urban environment by producing innovative systems for lighting and heating in the existing house at 1020 Laurel Avenue, Saint Paul; and WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Saint Paul has by resolution, unanimously adopted May 16, 1974, recognized the environmental significance of Project Ouroboros and further recognized that such project would materially enhance the City of 5aint Paul by providing energy saving workshops, educational programs and a community information center to the citizens of Saint Paul; and WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Saint Paul has by ordinance, unanimously adopted on July 16, 1974, commended the Science Museum of Minnesota, the University of Minnesota and the Urban Laboratory, Inc. , for their support of this innovative project; and WHEREAS, businesses and private citizens are contributing money and materials and; students, architects, engineers, apprentices and journeymen craftsmen are contributing their skills and ideas to this project; and WHEREAS, support for non-profit projects which promise to enhance the City of Saint Paul and bring benefits to its citizens is a proper activity of the Council of the City of Saint Paul; now, therefore, be it RESOLVED, that upon recommendation of the Mayor, and pursuant to Section 10.07.4 of the Charter of the City of 5aint Paul, there is hereby transferred the following: FROM: General Government Accounts Miscellaneous Contingent Reserve-General 09060-530-000 Special Appropriation $5,000.00 COUIVCILMEN Requested by Department of: Yeas Nays Christensen Hozza In Favor Levine Rcedler Against BY Sylvester Tedesco President Hunt Adopted by Council: Date Form Approved b Cit Atto y Certified Passed by Council Secretary BY By Approved by Mayor: Date Approved Mayo r i t C ncil By By � �.�a WHI7E - CITV CLERK �S ��(� !.
