RESOLVED, �'here is hereby established a Committee entitled
Special Planning and Development Study Committee, consisting of
the Mayor, City Council President, Planning CoYrunission Chairman,
Housing and Redevelopment Authority Chairman, Port Authority
Chairman, four citizen members nominated by the Mayor and con-
sented to by the City Council, and serving as ex officio �embers
shall be the members of the City Council and City Attorney. The
purpose of the Committee shall be to recommend to the Mayor and
City Council, following a study of the Planning and Development
functions of the Housing and Redevelopment Authority, the ,
Community Development Program, the office of City Planning and
the �ort Authority, an organization plan that will ensure the
most efficient and effective method to accomplish.;:planning and
development in the City of Saint Paul; and, be it
FURTHER RESOLVED, That upon the recommendation of the
mayoz, the Council hereby approves the appropriation of the sum
of $�3,972 to be expended on behalf of the Study Committee,
L�3o61] as set forth in more particular detail in the attached
budg�t estimates, the. funds being provided� from Coirm�unity Develop-
ment Block Grant Year II Program and transferred from the
previously approved C.D. Year I� project entitled "Citizen
Participation" .
