Honorable George Latimer
Mayor of the City of St. Paul
347 City Hall
St. Paul, Minnesota 55102
Dear Mayor Latimer:
Subject: Grant No. 8-76--MC-27-0007
Enclosed is an amended grant agreement for your year II, Com-
munity Development Block Grant program. The sole purpose of
this Amendment is to transfer $422,000 from line 9a to line 9e.
` This amendment is authorized to enable St. Paul to apply the
$422,000 towards repayment of an outstanding Urban Renewal
Loan maturing on September 14, 1976. Such action is necessary
because HUD neglected to automatically make the $422,000
payment on behalf of the City at the time of the last refinancing.
I regret any difficulties this omission may have caused you or
your staff.
Sincerely,
` Thomas T. Feeney
Area Director
