01-569Council File # O l— SI QRIG(NAL Presented By Referred To RESOLUTION CITY OF SAINT PAUL, MINNESOTA Committee: Date WHEREAS, Saint Paul Legislative Code § 376.17(c) requires new applicants for a taacicab driver's license to successfully complete a taxicab driver training course as a pzezequisite for licensure; and WHEREAS, § 376.17(d) permits an applicant to obtain a provisional operator license which authorizes the driver to operate until the first available opening in a training class, at which time the applicant must enroll in and successfully complete the class; and WHEREAS, Gregory Emond was issued a provisional operator license by the Office of LIEP and was notified of the taxicab driver training course to begin on Monday, February 5, 2001, but failed to attend and successfully complete the cowse; now, therefore, be it RESOLVED, that the provisional operator license (license ID# 19990006879) issued to Gregory Emond is hereby revoked for failure to enroli in and successfully complete the required taxicab drivertraining course.
