FIEiEREAS, the Council of the City of Saint Paul approved a concept and proposal for
a "Downtown People Mover" on Thursday, June 3, 1976; aad
WHEREAS, the City will be presentiag said proposal to the Metropolitan Transit
Coa�isaion on Wednesday, June 9, 1976 and Saturday, June 12, 1976; and
WHEREAS, it would be desirable for representatives of the City to present alterna-
tive concepta for the financing of construction and operating costs for said proposal to
the Metropolitan Transit Ccam�ission;
:r NOiW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED purauant to the authority granted to the City of
Saint Paul, that the Council of the City of Saint Paul does hereby approve the presenta-
tion by City representatives of the attached financing concepts to the Metropolitan
Transit Commissign.
