Weide' s Re- arrangement of Block 3 and the North 2 of Block 2, Winter' s Addition WHEREAS, pursuant to resolution, C. F. No. 267078, approved April 22, 1976, a public hearing was scheduled for 10:00 a.m. on April 29, 1976 before the Council of the City of Saint Paul, said hearing pertaining to the condition of the structures Iocated at 759 Pierce Butler Road, Saint Pau1, Minnesota; and WHEREAS, upon facts presented at said hearing consisting of photographs, inspection reports and the recocrnnenda.tion of the Division of Housing and Building Code Enforcement it is found and determined by the City Council that according to the records and files in the office of the Register of Deeds, the last record owner of the above described property is John E. Blomquist, Inc. ; that there is a mortgage on the property running to Twin City Federal Savings and Loan; and that Lorraine T. The building is standing vacant, abandoned and is subject to being entered by unauthorized persons; b. The condition of the building is as follows: � The plumbing f ixtures and piping are missing and broken, the electrical system is vandalized and mis5ing, and the warm air heating system is vandali:zed and missing. The plaster is falling and missing throughout the interior and the doors and exterior windows are broken and missing. The stair railings are missing, the roof has holeS in it, the cornices are rotten and missing �.�nd the chimney is in a hazardous condition. The front porch is rotten and leaning, : the foundation blocks are brok�n and co�crete is mis�ing. c. The building in the above condition is beyond reasonable repair; d. The building is unfit for human habitat���n in its present condition and constitutes a nuisance and a hazard to the public health, safety and welfare because of its physical damage, dilapidation and inadequate maintenance; now, therefore, be it RESOLVED, That in accordance with Minnesota Statutes Sections 463. 15 through 463. 26 and based upon the fore�oing findings of the *�; City Council, the Councit of the City of Saint Paul does hereby ma.ke the following Order: ORDER 1. The owner of the above described building shall make the same safe and not detrimental to the public peace, health, safety and welfare by having the said building razed and the materials therefrom removed from the premises within �hirty (30) days from the date of the service of this Order; 2. If the City of Saint Paul is compelled to take any corrective action herein, all necessary costs expended by the City will be assessed against the above described real estate and collected as other taxes; and be it FURTHER RE�OLVED, that a certified copy of this resolution and incorgorated Order herein be served upon the last record owner and parties of interest in the above described property in the manner provided by law.
