CITY OF 5T. PAUL
DEPARTMENT OF COMMUNITY SERVICES
DIVISION OF HOUSING AND BUILDING CODE ENFORCEMENT
445 City Hall, St. Paul, Minnesota 55102
Phone 612-298-4212
April 20, 1976
Mr. President and
Members of the City Council
Re: 954 W. Minnehaha
The Division of Housing & Building Code Enforcement has
received a request from the St. Paul Brass Foundry to erect
a 72" high chain link fence across the back of the property
at 95+ W. Minnehaha Street. The fence is to have three
strands of barbed wire for security purposes.
A field inspection has been made of the above site and the
Division can see no objection to granting this request. Since
the zoning of the property is Industrial-1, wheze barbed
wire fencing is allowed under Section 4.04-14 of the Legislative
Code, this division recommends that the request be granted
with the proviso that the arm for the wire is pointed over the
property.

Glenn A. Erickson
