J, sLO SUBJECT Ty GpUNCIL RESOLUTION TO WAIVE CODE COMPLIANCE INSPECTIONS IN MERRIAM PARR I have taken the liberty of drafCing the attached City Council resolution which addresses the issue of the City providiag information type code inspections in that neighborhood. This resolution is being proposed as a result of discussions with Glenn Erickson and Sam Blue of the Division of Housing and Building Code Enforcement and with Council Presideat David Hozza. All parties generallq concurred that it would be desirable to use the same inspection process in Merrism Park as is currently being used under the Citylide Rehabilitation Program. Because of the imoninent implementation of a rehabilita- tion program in Merriam Park, I would appreciate this matter being brought before City Council in the near future. Please advise if you have any questions or concerns about the resolution that I have prepared. Attachment cc: Council Presideat Hozza Reid McFarlane 0
