RESOLVED, that the Council of the City of Saint Paul
does hereby a.ccept from the Housing and Redeveloprc�ent Authority
of the City of Saint Paul, Minnesota, deed of dedication for
street purposes for the Kansas Avenue realignment from Robie
to Concord Street over a portion of Lots 11 through 17, in-
clusive, of Dawson' s Second Rearrangement of Block 28 of Brown
and Jackson's Addition to West St. Paul and the City Attorney
is authorized and directed to record this deed of dedication
in the office of the County Recorder.

the "HRA", and the CITY OF SAINT PAUL, MINNESOTA, a municipal
corporation, hereinafter called the "City".
WI T"iVES SETH: �
WiIEREAS, pursuant to the provisions of the !�Iinnesota A;urticipal
Housing and RedeveZopment Act, Chapter 487, as amended, the HRA
has acquired certain lands as part of the Concord Terrace Urban
Renewal Area, Yti.nn. R-37, in accordance with the RedeveZop�ent Plan
for such project; and
WHc^,REAS, the Redevelopment Plan for said project provides for
the dedication of certain lands for street purposes; and
WHEREAS, in order to carry out sai.d Redevelopment Plan, the
HRA desires to dedicate to the City as right-of-way for the Kansas
Avenue realignment from Robie to Concord Street below described.

NOW, TI�REFORE, the' HRA does hereby grant, bargain, quit claim
and convey unto the City forever a right-of-way for street purposes
lying and being within the County of Ramsey, State of Hlinnesota,
described as follows:
All of Lots 16 and 17 and that part of Lots ll through
15, inclusive, of Dawson's Second Rearrangement of
Block 28 of Brown and Jackson's Addition to West St.
Paul, lying northeasterly of a line described as follows:
Commencing at the intersection of the centerline of �
, i Andrew Street and Robie Street, thence on a line �vith '
, a bearing of South 65° 52' East, along the centerline
' of Robie Street for 495. 81 feet to the point of beginning
� of the line to be described, thence on a line with a
bearing of South 32° 11' East for 437.75 feet more or
less to a�point on the northwesterly line of the alley
in Dawson s Second Rearrangement of Block 28, Brown and
Jackson's Addition to West St. Paul and there terminating.

�� TO HAVE A1VD TO HOLD THE SA`RE, together with all hereditaments

,. , " and appurtenances thereunto belonging or in anywise appertaining
thereto to the City in trust for use by the public for street
� purposes. The City agrees for itself and its _successors and assigns
to or of the property described herein or any part thereof, that the
' City and such successors and assigns shall not discriminate upon the
basis of race, color, religion, sex or national origin in the use of
said property. It is intended and agreed that the foregoing agree-
•ment shall be a covenant running with the land, and that such agree-
. ment sha11 be binding to the fullest extent of law and equity for
the benefit and in favor of and enforcEable by the HRA, its
successors and assigns, and the United States of America against the
City, its successors and assigns. It is further intended and agreed
that said agreement and covenant shall remain in effect without
, limitation as to time.
