RESOLVED, that upon execution and delivery of a release
in full to the City in a form approved by the City Attorney,
the proper city officers are hereby authorized and directed
to pay out of the Tort Liability Fund No. 09070-511-000 to
Thomas D. Doyle, as father and natural guardian of Joseph A.
Doyle, and Al1en I. Nilva, his attorney the sum of Two
Thousand Five Hundred ($2,500. 00) Dollars in full settlement
of his claim of damages sustained on or about July 19, 1973
as more particularly set out in a communication to the City
Council on August 8, 1973.

RE: Joseph A. Doyle vs. City f Saint Paul
T�:e cla�.m against the City of Saint Paul by Joseph A� Doyle,
claimant, age 13, who was allegedly assaulted by the manager
of the Highland Park Pool on July 19, 1g73 when the manager
pushed claimant into a locker door which resulted in the
chipping of two front teeth, which will have to be capped
with permanent crowns.
Liability is on the part of the City. This office approves
the settlement reached in the amount of Two Thousand Five
Hundred Dollars ($2,500. 00) .
