Dear Council President Postroin,
I am writuig on behalf of the Hamline Mxdway Coalztion Board of Directors to
express out support for the St. Paul Saint's xeqiiest far a noise variance for a Jul Z6,
2001'concerE at Midway Stadium. Our informal agecment wi.th the Sants
discourages weeknigkt, concerts. However, the boazd.recognizes that special
exceptions to tlus rement ileed to be consideied fiom time-fio-time. Because Mr.
Fanning has assured me that no other.weelcttight dates for tlus season are urider
consideration, the board agrees that ax1 excetion is warxanted here.
If you or other Counciinembers have questions aboue otiu osition, please feel free
to call me at 646.1986.
