The plaintiff's squad collided with an uninsured vehicle driven by Daniel R. Olson. The plaintiff was injured as a result of the accident. On December 14, 1999, the plaintiff brought an action againstthe City to , lANTAGES IF AAPROVED , wages and earning capacity. This matter has progressed through pretrial discovery. A"co- defendant settled with the plaintiff for Dram Shop Liability in the amount of $15,000. An objective evaluation of the liability and damaqes issues has led our office toenter into a proposed settlement agreement which contemplates the payment of $20,000 to plaintiff in exchange for his complete release of all claims and rights against the City.
