DAVtD H. HOZZA ME MOR ANDU M December 15, 197? TO: The Honorable George at' er Mayor of St. Pau ' FROM: David H. Hozza '` : , , RE: Request for funds for The tre re-design In March, 1976, Winsor/Faricy Architects completed the first phase - of the Theatre design work as specified i.n the architectural services agreement. That work included programming, concept design, and site and cost analysis for the proposed Civic Center Theatre. Following the completion of that work it became apparent to the Civic Center ' Authority that work should also proceed for the Exhibition Hall. The planning and design of the Exhibition Hall, which is being designed by the Convention Center Associates, affects the Theatre concept and we are now in the position of needing an additional $5,000 to pay for the re-design work necessary for the Theatre to coordinate with the Exhibition Hall. This work must be completed by December 27, 1977. As chairman of the Theatre and Exhibition Hall Steering Committee I would respectfully request that this $5, 000 be transferred from the contingency unspecified account. This money is not available from the Civic Center Authority budget nor has it been included in the $40,000 budget already being used for the design of the Exhibition Hall. Your cooperation in this matter will be appreciated. If you have any questions please do not hesitate to contact me. Thank you. cc: Richard Broeker Lloyd Leider . ._ - ' Peter Hames '`" .
