hereby accept from the Housing and Re�.evelopment Authority of the

purpose of realignment of East Sixth �treet, and the City Attorney

way for the realignment of East Sixth Street presented by the
Housing and Redevelopment Authority of the City of Saint Paul.

DEED OF DEDICATION FOR STREET PURPOSES

THIS INDENTURE, made this ��_ day of July , 1977, between
the HOUSING A�1D REDEVELOPMENT AJTHORITY OF THE CITY OF SAINT PAUL,
MINi�1ESOTA, a public body corporate and politic, hereinaf ter
referred to as the "HRA" , and the CITY OF SAIIIT PAUL, r�INNESOTA,
a municipal corporation, hereinafter referred to as the "City" .
WITNESSETH:
WHEREAS, pursuant to the provisions of the Minnesota Municipal
Housing and Redevelopment Act, Chapter 487 , as amended, the HRA
has acquired certain lands as part of the Community Development
District 17 in accordance with the Redevelopment Plan for such
District; and
WHEREAS, the Redevelopment Plan for said District provides far
the dedication of certain lands for street purposes; and
WHEREAS, in order to carry out said Redevelopment Plan, the
HRA desires to dedicate to the City for realignment of East Sixth
Street land as described below.
NOW, THEREFQRE, the HRA does hereby grant, bargain, quit claim
and convey unto the City forever a portion of land described as
follows :
All that part of Lots 8 and 9, Block 8, Whitney and Smith's
Addition to St. Paul lying Southerly of the following
described line: Commencing at a point on the East line of
� said Lot 8 that is 1. 58 feet Northerly of the Southeast
corner thereof; thence �^�esterly, to a point on the Westerly
line of said Lat 9 that is 5. 14 feet North of the Southwest
corner thereof, and there terminating.
TO HAVE AND TO HOLD THE SAME, together with all hereditaments
and appurtenances thereunto belonging or in anywise appertaining
thereto to the City in trust for use by the public for street
purposes. The City agrees for itself and its successors and assigns
to or of the property described herein or any part thereof, that
the City and such successors and assigns shall not discriminate
upon the basis of race, color, religion, sex or national origin
in the use of said property. It is intended and agreed that the
foregoing agreement shall be a covenant running with the land,
ana that such agreement shall be binding to the fullest extent of
law and equity for the benefit and in favor of and enforceable by
the HRA, its successors and assigns , and the United States of America

against the City, its successors and assigns . It is further intended
and agreed that said agreement and covenant shall remain in effect
without limitation as to time.
IN TESTIMONY WHEREOF, the HRA has caused this Deed to be
executed by its duly authorized officers and its seal hereunto affixed
