An administrative Resolution approving the terms and
conditions of a 1978 Memorandum of Agreement between
the City of St. Paul, Independent School District No. 625,
and the St. Paul Professional Employees Association,
"White Collar" Supervisory Unit, representing the
"White Collar" Supervisory employees of the City of 5t.
Paul.
WHEREAS, the Council, pursuant to the provisions of Section 12. 09
of tlze St. Paul City Charter and the Public Employees Labor Relations Act
of 1971, as amended, recognizes the St. Paul Professional Employees �
Association, "White Collar" 5upervisory Unit, as exclusive representative
for those classes of positions within the City of St. Paul certified by the Bureau
of Mediation Services under Case No. 74-PR-207-A for t1�.e purpose of ineeting
and negotiating the terms and conditions of employment for all full-time
personnel in the classes of positions as set forth in the Agreement between the
City and the exclusive representatives hereinabove referen�ced; and
WHEREAS, the City, through designated representatives, and the
exclusive representatives have met in good faith and have negotiated the terms
and conditions of employment for the calendar year of 1978 for such personnel
as are set forth in t,he Agreement between the City of St. Paul, Independent
School District No. 625, and the exclusive representatives; and
WHEREAS, a 1978 Agreement has been reached which includes an
insurance adjustment and wage adjustment; now, therefore, be it

RESOLVED, that the Memorandum of Agreement, cited above,
dated as of the effective date of this Resolution, between the City of St.
Paul, Independent School District No. 625, and the St. Paul Professional
Employees Association, "White Collar" Supervisory Unit, on file in the
office of the City Clerk, is hereby approved, and the authorized adminis-
trative officials of the City are hereby authorized and directed to execute
said Agreement on behalf of the City.

This Memorsndum of Agreement by and between the City of Saint Paul, Independent
School District No. 625 and the Saint Paul Professional F�nployees Association,
Unit II "White Collar Supervisors".
In full settlement of 1978 negotiations� the parties hereto have agreed as follows:
(1) Excegt as herein modi:'ied, the A�,reement between the parties,
entered into June 10, 1977, shall be the basis of the forth-
coming Labor Agreement.
(2) Page A5 of Appendix A of said Agreement shaZl be replaced with
Page A5 which is attached hereto and made a part hereof.
(3) T'he lg7$ Agreement shall become effective January l, 1978.
(�+) It is also agreed that the duration of the 197$ Agreement shall
be through December 31, 1978, and that said termination date shall
be as set forth in Section 20.1 of the collective bargaining
agreement.
(5) Changes in Article %V as shown on Attachment No. 2.
It is understood that the above settlement sha11 be reco�ended by the Gity
Negotiator, but is subjef�t to approval by the City Aclministration and adoption
by the City Cauncil and the Civil Service Commission.

Effective January 1, 1978 the dollar figures in Section 15.4 ahall be changed
to reflect the flill 1978 cost of Employee Coverage and one-half (2) of the
197$ cost of dependent's coverage.
