Dear Sir/Madam:
Please take notice that a hearing conceming the above-named establishment has been scheduled
for 5:30 p.m., Wednesday, Apri125, 2001 in the City Council Chambers, Third Floor, Saint
Paul City Hall and Ramsey County Courthouse.
Enclosed aze copies of the proposed resolution and other documents which will be presented to
the City Councii for their consideration. This is an uncontested hearing, in that the facts
conceming the sale of alcohol to an underage person have not been disputed. You will have an
opportunity at the Council hearing to present oral and/or written remazks as to the penalty, if any,
to be imposed. The recommendation of the license office will be for a 45 day suspension of your
Off-Sale Malt license and a$2,000.00 fine.

Dear Sir/Madam:
The Office of License Inspections and Environmental Protection has recommended
adverse action against the licenses held by Speedway Superamerica LLC, d/b/a Superamerica
for the premises located at 29b E. 7`" Streei in Saint Paul. The basis for the recommendation is
as follows:
On February 10, 2001, an alcohol compliance check was
conducted at the premises of the Superamerica at 296 E. 7`n
Street in Saint Paul. An 18-year old female entered the
premises and asked For a 12-pack of Budweiser beer. The beer
case is tocked and the cierk she ferst spoke Yo told anotber clerk
to go get the beer, then rang the sale up when the second clerk
returned. Neither clerk asked for identification. Sale of
alcohql to an underage person is a violation of Minn. Stat.
§340A.503.
If you do not dispute the above facts please send me a letter with a statement to that
effect. The matter will then be scheduled for a hearing before the St. Paul City Council to
determine what penalty, if any, to impose. You will have an opportunity to appear and speak on
your own behalf, or to have someone appeaz there for you. The Iicensing office wiil recommend
a 45 day suspension of your Off-Sale Liquor license and a$2,000.00 fine.

hearing before an Administrative Law 7udge (AL�. Tf you wish to have such a hearing, please

In either case, please lei me know in writing no later than Monday, Apri19, 2001,
how you would like to proceed. If I have not heard from you by that date, I will assume

Please take notice that a hearing conceming the above-named establishment has been scheduled
for 5:30 p.m., Wednesday, Apri125, 2001 in the City Council Chambers, Third Floor, Saint
Paul City Hall and Ramsey County Courthouse.
Enclosed aze copies of the proposed resolution and other documents which will be presented to
the City Councii for their consideration. This is an uncontested hearing, in that the facts
conceming the sale of alcohol to an underage person have not been disputed. You will have an
opportunity at the Council hearing to present oral and/or written remazks as to the penalty, if any,
to be imposed. The recommendation of the license office will be for a 45 day suspension of your
Off-Sale Malt license and a$2,000.00 fine.

Dear Sir/Madam:
The Office of License Inspections and Environmental Protection has recommended
adverse action against the licenses held by Speedway Superamerica LLC, d/b/a Superamerica
for the premises located at 29b E. 7`" Streei in Saint Paul. The basis for the recommendation is
as follows:
On February 10, 2001, an alcohol compliance check was
conducted at the premises of the Superamerica at 296 E. 7`n
Street in Saint Paul. An 18-year old female entered the
premises and asked For a 12-pack of Budweiser beer. The beer
case is tocked and the cierk she ferst spoke Yo told anotber clerk
to go get the beer, then rang the sale up when the second clerk
returned. Neither clerk asked for identification. Sale of
alcohql to an underage person is a violation of Minn. Stat.
§340A.503.
If you do not dispute the above facts please send me a letter with a statement to that
effect. The matter will then be scheduled for a hearing before the St. Paul City Council to
determine what penalty, if any, to impose. You will have an opportunity to appear and speak on
your own behalf, or to have someone appeaz there for you. The Iicensing office wiil recommend
a 45 day suspension of your Off-Sale Liquor license and a$2,000.00 fine.

Dear Sir/Madam:
The Office of License Inspections and Environmental Protection has recommended
adverse action against the licenses held by Speedway Superamerica LLC, d/b/a Superamerica
for the premises located at 29b E. 7`" Streei in Saint Paul. The basis for the recommendation is
as follows:
On February 10, 2001, an alcohol compliance check was
conducted at the premises of the Superamerica at 296 E. 7`n
Street in Saint Paul. An 18-year old female entered the
premises and asked For a 12-pack of Budweiser beer. The beer
case is tocked and the cierk she ferst spoke Yo told anotber clerk
to go get the beer, then rang the sale up when the second clerk
returned. Neither clerk asked for identification. Sale of
alcohql to an underage person is a violation of Minn. Stat.
§340A.503.
If you do not dispute the above facts please send me a letter with a statement to that
effect. The matter will then be scheduled for a hearing before the St. Paul City Council to
determine what penalty, if any, to impose. You will have an opportunity to appear and speak on
your own behalf, or to have someone appeaz there for you. The Iicensing office wiil recommend
a 45 day suspension of your Off-Sale Liquor license and a$2,000.00 fine.
