Whereas, the City Charter provides in Seetion 7.05 that
the city primary election shall be held on a date set by the
council which shall be no less than six weeks before the city
election, and
Whereas, the city election shall be held on the last
Tuesday in April 1978, in accordance with Section 7.01. and
therefore, be it
Resolved, that the city primary election 3n 1978 ahall
be held on March 1�-, the second Tuesday in March, and be it
Further Resolved, that no affidavit of candidacy may be accept-
ed ].ater than 5:00 P.M. of the last day for filing in accordance
with Section 202A.26 Subd. 2 of the Minnesota Eleetion Laws,
and be it
Further Resolved, that at the city prima.ry election and
at the city �eneral election the polls shall be open from 7:00
A.M. to 8:00 P.M.
