RESOLVED, That upon execution and delivery of a
release in full to the City, in a form to be approved
by the City Attorney, the proper City officers are
hereby authorized and directed to pay out of the Tort
Liability Fund 09070-511-000, to:
l. Bryan Sandager the sum af $235.20 in full settle-
ment of his claim of damages sus tained on or about
July 6, 1977, as more particularly set out in a
communication to the City Council on August 16,
1977.
2. Chicago, Milwaukee, St. Paul and Pacific Railroad �
Company the sum of $900.89 in full settlement of
its claim of damages sustained on or about September 27,
1976, as more particularly set out in a communica-
tion to the City Council on Nove�nber 16, 1976.
3. Bill Hoye the sum of $24. 00 in full settle-
ment of his claim of damages sustained on or about
July 29, 1977, as more particularly set out in a
communication to the City Counci 1 on August 23,
1977 .

CLAIMS AGAINST TIiE CITY OF SAINT PAUL BY
BRYAN SANDAGER; CHICAGO, MILWAUKEE, ST. PAUL
AND PACIFIC RAILROAD COMPANY; AND BILL HOYE
Claimant, requests reimbursement for damages to his vehicle
which occurred as a result of a traffic control box falling
on his vehicle. The box had rusted out at the base. This
office approves the settlement of Mr. Sandager's claim in the
amount of $235. 20 .
Claimant, Chicago, Milwaukee, St. Paul and Pacific Railroad
Company, requests reimbursement fo r damages to its railroad
signal which was damaged when a City of Saint Paul, Depart-
ment of Public Works vehicle back�d into it. This office
approves its claim in the amount of $900.89 .
Claimant, Bill Hoye, requests reimbursement for towing and
storage charges when he vehicle was towed without sufficient
notice. Because of inechanical failurE, Mr. Hoye left his car
parked while he went to get help. During the time he was
gone, problems arose in the area which necessitated the police
in declaring a temporary no parking area. Mr. Hoye was not
given time to return for his vehicle. This office approves
the settlement of Mr. Hoye's claim in the amount of $24.OQ.
