01-416Council File # �l� Vl\�C Resolution # Green Sheet # ��� 7.�R RESOLUTION 0 Presented By Referred To Committee: Date �3 RESOLUTION OF THE SAINT PAUL CITY COUNCIL AUTHORIZING APPLICATION TO THE MINNESOTA DEPARTMENT OF TRADE AND ECONONIIC DEVELOPMENT'S 0 10 11 12 CONTAIVIII�ATION CLEAIVUP GRANT PROGRAM FOR THE WEST SIDE FLATS HOUSING PROJECT BE IT RESOLVED, that the City of Saint Paul act as the legal sponsor for the West Side Flats Housing Project contained in the Contamination Cleanup Grant Program to be submitted on May l, 2001, and that Mayor Norm Coleman is hereby authorized to apply to the Minnesota Department of Trade and Economic Development for $2,339,000 in project costs associated with this project on behalf of the City of Saint Pau1. 13 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the City of Saint Paul has the legal authority to apply for financial 14 assistance, and the institutional, managerial, and financial capability to ensure adequate project 15 administration. 16 17 18 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the sources and amounts of the local match identified in the 19 application are committed to the project identified. 20 21 22 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the City of Saint Paul has not violated any federal, state or local laws 23 pertaining to fraud, bribery, graft, kickbacks, collusion, conflict of interest or other unlawful or corrupt 24 25 26 27 28 29 30 31 32 practice.
