RESOLVED, That upon execution and delivery of a
release in full to the City, in a form to be approved
by the City Attorney, the proper City officers are
hereby authorized and directed to pay out of the Tort
Liability Fund 09070-511-000, to:
1. Mrs. Don Shipley the sum of $10.00 in full settle-
ment of her claim of damages sustained on or about
January 8 , 1977, as more particularly set out in a
communication to the City Council on January 27,
1977 .
2. George Weissman and Elizabeth Bosi the sum of
$431.48 in full settlement of their claim of
damages sustained on or about November 8, 1976, as
more particularly set out in a communication to
the City Council on January 6, 1977.
3. John Vivodinac and Mary Ann Vivodinac the sum of
$307. 67 in full settlement of their claim of
damages sustained on or about March 8, 1977, as
more particularly set out in a communication to
the City Council on Ma.rch 22, 1977.
4. Roderick Smith the sum of $164.05 in full settle-
ment of his claim of damages sustained on or about
March 4, 1977, as more particularly set out in a
communication to the City Council on March 17, 1977.

M E M O R A N D U M
CLAIMS AGAINST CITY OF SAINT PAUL BY
MRS. DON SHIPLEY; GEORGE WEISSMAN AND
ELIZABETH BOSI; JOHN VIVODINAC AND
MARY ANN VIVODINAC; AND RODERICK SMITH
Claimant, Mrs. Don Shipley, requests reimbursement for
clothing which were damaged when she fell on city side-
walk on January 8, 1977. This office approves the settle-
ment of Mrs. Shipley' s claim in the amount of $10. 00
Claimants, George Weissman and Elizabeth Bosi, request
reimbursement for damages to their sewer when it backed
up. The back up was caused when city crews removed two
condemned houses next to their' s. This office approves
the settlement of Mr. Weissman and Ms. Bosi' s claim in
the amount of $431.48.
Claimants, John Vivodinac and Mary Ann Vivodinac, re-
quest reimbursement for damages to their vehicle caused
by a City of Saint Paul, Department of Finance, vehicle
on March 22, 1977. This office approves the settlement
of Mr. and Mrs. Vivodinac's claim in the amount of $307.67.
Claimant, Roderick Smith, was involved in an automobile
accident with a City of Saint Paul, Department of Public
Works, vehicle on March 4, 1977. This office approves
the settlement of Mr. Smith's claim in the amount of
$164 .05.
