WHEREAS, upon the recommendation of the Mayor and contingent upon
approval of the Department of Housing and Urban Development, the Council
of the City of Saint Paul has approved the use of $840,000 from the NDP
loan repayment account for part of the costs required to assemble a site
for the construction of a light manufacturing facility by Control Data
Corporation in the Martin Luther King area; and
�WHEREAS, the $840,000 so approved is insufficient to cover the total
estimated cost for assembly of the Control Data site, the total estimate
being as follows:
Acquisition $630,500
Relocation 389,000
Demolition, Site Preparation
and Public Improvements 43,125
� Contingency 89,275
TOTAL ESTIMATED COST 1 ,15 ,900
and
WHEREAS, the Mayor and the City Council wish to appropriate all the
funds necessary to assemble the Control Data site as soon as possible; now,
therefore, be it
RESOLVEQ, that upon the recommendation of the Mayor, the Council of
the City of Saint Paul does hereby approve the allocation of all the land
disposition proceeds, realized from the sale of the properties comprising
the Control Data site, for costs involved in the assembly of the Control
Data site; said land disposition proceeds being estimated to be $311 ,900;
and be it
