RESOLUTION APPROVING A NEIGHBORHOOD STAR LOAN AND GRAN7
FOR HISTORIC SAINT PAUL, INC.
WHEREAS, on February 27, 2001, the Neighborhood STAR Board reviewed a request from
Historic Saint Paul, Inc. for assistance through the Neighborhood STAR Year Round Program; and
WHEREAS, the STAR funds will be matched on at least a one to one basis, and will be used
to assist homeowners in the rehabilitation and restoration of historic properties within the city; and
WHEREAS, the PED Credit Committee has reviewed the proposal, and the Neighborhood
STAR Board has recommended up to a$120,00� STAR loan and a$30,000 STAR grant for the
project, and has further recommended approval by the Mayor and City Council; now, therefore be it
RESOLVED, that upon the recommendation of the Mayor, and with the advice of the
Neighborhood STAR Board, the Council of the City of Saint Paul does hereby approve a STAR
Year Round loan in the amount of up to $120,000 and a STAR Year Round Grant of up to
$30,000; and be it
FURTHER RESOLVED, that the STAR Budget Financing and Spending Plan be amended as
identified below;

"due on sale" provision. Dayton's Bluff NHS, Inc. has agreed to perform the rehab related services on behalf of Historic
Saint Paul, Inc.. The proposal has been reviewed and recommended' For funding by the Neighborhood STAR Board and the
PED Credit Committee.
Historic Saint Paul, Inc. will be able to provide assistance to homeowners in the rehabilitation and restoration of their
