1 Whereas, Jodi Bantley has demonstrated exceptional leadership as executive director of the Hamline
2 Midway Coalition for the past siY years; and
3 Whereas, Jodi Bantley has been a gentle warrior for the Hamline Midway neighborhood and the City of
4 Saint Paul, challenging the city to hear the voice of the neighborhood; and
5 Whereas, Jodi Bantley has worked to ensure constructive problem solving and has demonstrated a
6 persistent commitment to high ethical standards; and
7 Whereas, Jodi Bantley has helped build a strong and enduring neighborhood organization and has shown
8 others how to find and successfully use their voice; and
9 Whereas, Jodi Bantley is leaving the Hamline Midway Coalition to devote her full-time attention to family
10 and relatives, both near and far; now therefore be it
11 Resolved, that the Saint Paul City Council recognizes Jodi Bantley for her extraordinary commitment and
12 many contributions to her beloved community and to the City of Saint Paul; and be it finally
13 Resolved, that we will arixiously await Jodi's return to the great city of Saint Paul with mild trepidation
14 and indeed much delight.
